There are three types of automatic door closer. The traditional oil filled door closer screws to the door
and the wall, and will gently but firmly close your door. The concealed door closer
which fits into the side of the door and works in the gap between the door and
the frame, then these clever closers which operate from inside the hinge.
The two different oil filled closers differ in that one is larger and has more controls. This allows you to set
the speed at which the door swings, the closing pressure, the delay action. The larger one is also more suitable for
very heavy doors.
Note: These door closers will not always fit every door configuration, so read through the fitting
instructions carefully if you are not sure.
